PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow highly precise measurement by an remote operation.;SOLUTION: In a method for this system, a position of a remote operation type surveying vehicle 10 is calculated by two-point-measuring fixed points P1, P2 of known coordinates using the remote operation type surveying vehicle comprising a measuring instrument 2 for measuring a target 8 of a measuring object, a wide angle camera 3 attached to the measuring instrument, a collimation camera 4 attached to an eye contact part of the measuring instrument, an automatic leveler 5 of an installation table for installing the measuring instrument and for leveling automatically the measuring instrument, and a remote operation type travel means 6 for mounting the automatic leveler installed with the measuring instrument, and a target vehicle 11 of a target vehicle traveling by the remote operation mounted with a reflecting prism and a wide angle camera is moved to an optional point to measure a position of the target vehicle by the remote operation type surveying vehicle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
