PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet rotating electric machine in which the initial demagnetization of a permanent magnet and the changes over aging are respectively reduced to predetermined amounts or less and which has high reliability, and to provide a permanent magnet generator for a wind turbine power generation.;SOLUTION: A conditional equation of "device 1" is satisfied, wherein μ is the permeability of the permanent magnet, H is a coercive force, B is a residual magnetic flux density, h is the thickness of the magnet, and g is an air gap length in the permanent magnet rotating electric machine.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
