GROWTH PROMOTING AND DISEASE INJURY SUPPRESSING MATERIAL FOR PLANT, AND CULTURE SOIL FOR RAISING SEEDLING COMPRISING THE SAME MATERIAL

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material protecting field crops from soil disease injuries and promoting the growth, to carry out stable field crop production and to further make initial growth of the field crops vigorous, set the field crops in a healthy state, thereby protect the crops from the soil disease injuries and carry out stable crop production in culture soil for raising seedlings mixed with the material. PSOLUTION: The growth promoting and disease injury suppressing material for the plant is composed of nonpathogenic fungi of the genus Fusarium and one or two or more kinds selected from a wood carbonized material, an organic substrate and a porous material. The culture soil for raising the seedlings comprises the material. Thereby, growth promoting and disease injuries suppressing effects on the plant are produced. When the material is mixed into the culture soil for raising the seedlings, the nonpathogenic fungi of the genus Fusarium are colonized in roots from the time of germination. Thereby, the resultant culture soil not only prevents the invasion of pathogenic fungi and protects the seedlings from the soil disease injuries but also contributes to the promotion of growth and further imparts disease resistance to the field crops.
