PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunnel boring machine for a vertical shaft capable of performing the same construction work as a horizontal shaft or an inclined shaft.;SOLUTION: A boring machine body 3 and a following deck 4 of storied structure disposed above the boring machine body 3, are connected by level adjusting jacks 18.
