PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for three-dimentional visualization of the magnetic flux distribution while not only the magnetic flux distribution of a permanent magnet and/or a single unit of electromagnet but also the magnetic flux distribution of a component in which such magnets are installed are held in the condition that they are installed and capable of being used in confirmation of the magnet performance and/or elucidation of any inconvenience and also in visual grasp of the leak flux at any electromagnetic component.;SOLUTION: An object to be tested such as a magnet or a coil is held in a suspension of such a structure that a ferromagnetic powder of iron, nickel, etc. is dispersed in an unhardened liquid of a clear thermohardening resin, for example epoxy resin, and the resin liquid is held at the specified temperature and hardened after passage of a sufficient time such that the ferromagnetic powder is attracted to the object and the surplus portion of ferromagnetic powder not attracted is sedimented to make clear the suspension, and the ferromagnetic powder is fixed in the attracted condition in accordance with the magnetic flux distribution of the object.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
