BEAUTY USE OF NEW EXFOLIATION AGENT

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition suitable for topical application to the skin or the scalp, containing, in a physiologically acceptable medium, at least one compound of a prescribed formula, and to provide a method for beauty treatment, comprising topical application of the compound and a new C-glycoside derivative and especially for preventing or fading out the signs of aging of the skin and/or improving the radiance of the skin and/or preventing dry skin. PSOLUTION: The composition suitable for topical application to the skin or the scalp contains, in the physiologically acceptable medium, at least one compound of formula (I). The new C-glycoside derivative represented by formula III (wherein, S is a monosaccharide or a polysaccharide) has exfoliation properties and, thereby, is usable for preventing or treating the signs of aging of the skin, dry skin and pimples.
