PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce the sense of force that the keys of an acoustic piano have.;SOLUTION: When a key 2 is operated, reaction forces corresponding to its position, speed, and acceleration are outputted from sense of force imparting tables 30 to 33 and put together to generate a composite signal Sum. The sense of force imparting tables are set by timbres and generate outputs corresponding to the timbres. A PWM command value corresponding to the composite signal Sum and a signal Sp indicating the position is outputted from a PWM command value generating circuit 40 and a driving current corresponding thereto is outputted through a current feedback circuit 51.
