PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system wherein medical personnel can readily make a decision in a specified step during an examination process of a patient. PSOLUTION: This computer-aided patient health care decision support system is provided with a data collection interface for receiving clinical data and physical and physiological registration data on a patient. The system is also provided with a memory for supplying specialists with medical standards and a computer-aided detection unit for receiving patient registration data. The detection unit provides information highlighting a legion. An inference engine within the system receives clinical data from the interface, professional standards from the memory which stores medical standards and information provided by the detection unit.
