PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing a Chinese bun-shaped body with which the bun-shaped body can efficiently be produced without causing a defective form, and which offers excellent maintenance by simplifying the structure of the apparatus. PSOLUTION: The apparatus for producing the Chinese bun-shaped body has a rod-shaped pressing-in body 13, a shutter member 15, a shutter member-drive part 16, and a Chinese bun-shaped body-receiving part 17. The rod-shaped pressing-in body 13 has a tip formed into a nearly spherical shape and supported in the inside of an outer cover-filling part 12 filled with an outer cover material A so as to be lifted and lowered. The shutter member 15 is concentrically arranged at the periphery of an opening from which the outer cover material at the lower end of the outer cover-filling part 12 is extruded, has a contraction opening part 15c formed at the center thereof, and is composed of several components. The shutter member-drive part 16 opens and closes the contraction opening part 15c by turning the shutter member 15. The Chinese bun-shaped body-receiving part 17 is rotated so as to synchronize with the movement of the shutter member-drive part 16 or by being fixed and supported by the shutter member-drive part or the shutter member 15 at the upper terminal part side, and supports the Chinese bun-shaped body C extracted from the contraction opening part 15c by surrounding the Chinese bun-shaped body C by the extended lower terminal side.
