PICO-NET BUILDING METHOD

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a model-selection type pico-net building method utilizing an application using a Bluetooth (R) radio communication system which simply builds a desired pico-net. PSOLUTION: The pico-net building method comprises a memory for storing a plurality of pico-net models in a Bluetooth terminal, an indicator for indicating a plurality of icons showing the pico-net models stored in the memory, an operating unit for selecting one icon ofthe plurality of iconsshown on the indicator, a CPU for defining and building a pico-net built up according to a pico-net model corresponding to the selected icon, and a Bluetooth communication unit for searching for surrounding Bluetooth terminals and connecting with the searched Bluetooth terminal. The CPU defines the pico-net built according to the pico-net model selected by the icon, then searches for terminals around own terminal, and determines from the result that the defined pico-net can be perfectly built. If the role of a master terminal is allotted here to own terminal in the pico-net, it is connected to those terminals to which the role of a slave terminal is allotted, one after another.
