PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make obtainable a printed image quality similar to that of a roll paper without a joint section.;SOLUTION: The sheet to be thermally transferred comprises at least two sheet bodies to be thermally transferred obtained by forming a dye receiving layer on a base material sheet and a joint sheet to joint the two sheet bodies to be thermally transferred by bonding them with a tape. The sheet to be thermally transferred is wound up like a roll, and the joint sheet is made of a cushion material, with its length being longer than the outer periphery in the roll diameter of the joint portion.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
