PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control system and an operation control method for enabling a maintenance vehicle to travel safely, and to provide the maintenance vehicle used for the operation control system.;SOLUTION: The operation control system for allowing the maintenance vehicle 41 that loads controllable steeling and driving gears to travel to a destination according to a road 30 comprises an operation control center 32 for transmitting map information data indicating a traveling route to the maintenance vehicle 41; a positioning means such as a GPS receiver 50 for acquiring current positional information data loaded to the maintenance vehicle 41; an ideal route arithmetic unit 42 for calculating ideal route information data for the maintenance vehicle 41 on a road by adding the current positional information data by the positioning means and map information data; and a voice/image display 56 that is provided in the maintenance vehicle 41 and displays and announces the map information and the current positional information on the maintenance vehicle by images and voice based on the ideal route information data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
