METHOD OF REMOVING NOISE, AND FILTER FOR REMOVING NOISE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove an impulsive noise contained in a digital signal.;SOLUTION: A differential calculating part 2 calculates a differential δ_i between adjacent samples in the digital data D_i of a processing object. a deviation calculating part 3 finds an average value δbar of the difference value δ_i and a standard deviation S thereof, and calculates a deviation H_i prepared by dividing a difference between the difference value δ_i and the average value δbar by the average value δbar. In a filtering part 4, the deviation H_i is compared with a threshold value Hd, and the sample corresponding in the data D_i is determined as a noise portion when an absolute value of the deviation H_i exceeds the threshold value Hd consecutively in an interval within a prescribed number Hn, and a digital data D'_i of which the impulsive noise is removed is output when after substituted with an interpolation value found from the samples positioned in front and rear sides thereof.
