PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily measure and display the pulse of a patient based on operation by a physician etc. PSOLUTION: This portable measurement display instrument is constituted so that a pulse counting button is depressed (step 51) with the timing of the pulsation of a patient's pulse. Then, time measurement by a timer is started (step 52) in compliance with depressing of the counting button. Responsing to each of depressing of the counting button equal to or more than the number of the smallest times of measurement (N), based on a passing time from first depressing of the counting button to depressing of the counting button equal to or more than the number of the smallest times of measurement (N) and the number of times of depressing, the pulse of the patient for one minute is displayed on a display screen (step 61).
