PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new, and simple method for identifying coronary artery spasm type angina pectoris.;SOLUTION: The coronary artery spasm type angina pectoris is identified by measuring serotonin concentration in a plasma sample, a whole blood sample, a serum sample, or a platelet sample. Additionally, by measuring serotonin concentration in the plasma sample, that in the whole blood sample, serum sample, or platelet sample, and then obtaining the ratio of the serotonin concentration in the plasma sample to serotonin concentration in the whole blood sample, serum sample, or the platelet sample, the coronary artery spasm type angina pectoris can be identified.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
