PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a film with micro structures, which is technology for mounting an IC chip and the like on a base film.;SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the film with micro structures, a coating device having a roll with recessed hole 11, an impression cylinder 12, a developing solution container 14, a doctor blade 13 and a dry zone 15 is used. The base film passes between the roll with recessed hole and the impression cylinder in a state where the developing solution container is filled with developing solution where the micro structures 3 are dispersed and a part of the roll is immersed in developing solution and is rotated. When the roll with recessed hole rotates in developing solution and a surface of the roll is scratched by the doctor blade 13, the micro structures are engaged into the recessed hole 11. When the base film 2 passes between the roll with recessed hole 11 and the impression cylinder, the micro structures in the recessed hole and a small amount of developing solution are transferred to the base film, and the micro structures 3 are fixed to the base film 2 in the dry zone.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
