METHOD FOR GREENING AND REFRESHING ROAD INCIDENTAL FACILITY, AND GREENING COVER MATERIAL

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily and inexpensively greening and refreshing road incidental facilities in a short period of time, applicable to existing road incidental facilities at the on-site. PSOLUTION: The method for greening and refreshing road incidental facilities comprises attaching cover material 2 obtained by vegetating plants on the outer surfaces of existing road incidental facilities so that the greened surface as the outer surface of the cover material 2 forms a new outer surface. This method enables greening of the road incidental facilities much more easily, inexpensively and shortly than the method of exchanging the facilities for new ones. Application of the method to panels 12 of a sound-proof wall 1 having a large installation area makes it possible to easily green a large area at urban regions necessary to be greened. Using fern or moss plants for greening enables remarkably excellent greening dry-resistant, and excellent in photosynthesis properties and water retainability because the fern or moss plants can easily be fixed on the surface without using soil.
