PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide composite piping having an organic solvent penetration preventing structure for city water supply, and a method for preventing penetration of organic solvent, in which a composite pipe can be branched using a snap tap with a saddle without requiring removal of a metal layer to shorten work time, and to be capable of effectively preventing penetration of organic solvent inward from connection parts of the snap tap with a saddle.;SOLUTION: This device is provided with the composite pipe composed of a resin layer and a metal layer having a branch hole in which an end surface of the metal layer is exposed, the saddle installed on an outer circumferential surface of the composite pipe, packing material inserted between the composite pipe and the saddle to surround the branch hole to prevent external fluid from flowing into the branch hole, the snap tap fastened to the saddle, and having a passage to communicate with the branch hole in the composite pipe, and a cylindrical metal inner core inserted into the branch hole to be tightly applied to the end surface of the metal layer exposed around the branch hole to prevent penetration of the external fluid into the passage.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
