PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure diagnosing system for a control system of a plant such as a turbine capable of quickly executing the primary diagnosis for the cause of any failure originating from the control system generated in the plant.;SOLUTION: When the cause of any failed condition originating from the control system generated in the plant such as turbine is diagnosed presumptively from the feature of the failure phenomenon, plant apparatuses 61a, 61b, etc. involving the cause of the failure are diagnosed presumptively using a control system failure cause-result matrix 6 in which the features 63 of a plurality of failure phenomena constructed in a knowledge base are associated with a plurality of factors 61 and 62 by the correlation (weighting) point number 64.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
