PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static crushed material excavation method suitably applicable to particularly a tunnel widening method by easily securing a working space for a construction working vehicle such as a back hoe in a tunnel without needing blasting or a frame.;SOLUTION: A plurality of first excavated holes 22 are excavated using a flexible boring rod 3 along the outline of an excavation predetermined region 2Z, and a plurality of second excavated holes 23 are excavated using a flexible boring rod 4 in prescribed regions (regions A, B, or the like) inside the outline of the excavated predetermined region 2Z. An expansion material Mb is filled in the second excavated holes 23, and the filled expansion material Mb is expanded. Excavation of the second excavated holes 23, filling of the expansion material Mb and the expansion of the expansion material Mb are repeated until the whole region of the excavation predetermined region 2 whose outline is specified by the plurality of first excavated holes 22 is removed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
