PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent inconvenience to customers in on-line shopping such that a product which a customer puts into a shopping basket turns out to be out of stock after the customer starts or finishes a purchasing procedure.;SOLUTION: In on-line shopping, when a customer displays a product which the customer is interested on a screen of a customer terminal 101, the number of sales unit is subtracted from the number of stock of the product, and then the product is tentative reserved. The stock for the customer is reserved when the customer starts a purchasing procedure, thereby enhancing reliability of the on-line shopping server.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
