PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeless discharge lamp in which an excessive temperature rise of the core is prevented and the power loss of the electric coupler such as the core is reduced, and a lighting device of the electrodeless discharge lamp, and an illumination device comprising the electrodeless discharge lamp and the electrodeless discharge lamp lighting device.;SOLUTION: This is an electrodeless discharge lamp which comprises a bulb of nearly spherical shape in which a discharge gas containing at least mercury and a rare gas is filled inside and has a hollow part 2 of cross-sectionally recessed shape, an induction coil 3 which is arranged in the hollow part 2 and supplies high frequency electromagnetic field to the discharge gas, a core 4 of cylindrical shape on which an induction coil 3 is wound and made of a magnetic material, and a member 5 of heat conductive material which is inside the core 4 and contacts the core 4.
