PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide wall surface equipment for wards fitted with a lighting apparatus unit which is usable comfortably as a reading lamp capable of instantaneously lighting with a limited current consumption by restricting the heating value along with a longer life of the lamp.;SOLUTION: An oblong lighting unit in which two arrays of a plurality of light emitting diodes is arrayed in two rows aslant and downward to let them irradiate right under or to a distance is detachably mounted on a wall surface unit installed on the wall surface close to a bed in a ward equipped with a nurse call, a medical gas outlet and a plug socket. An oblong light collection plate with a roughly triangular cross section protruding to the irradiation side ahead of the light emitting diodes of the lighting unit is pivoted by the lighting unit at both ends thereof to make the direction of irradiation adjustable by being tilted about the horizontal axis.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
