PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely quantify the contrast luminance of a region of interest in performing contrast echo method, to perform quantification with good diagnostic efficiency, and to present processing result effectively utilizing the diagnosis information. PSOLUTION: The subject ultrasonograph includes analyzing means 25, 30, 24, 14, 13. The analyzing means is adapted to take a signal forming a tomographic image, record the same, set the region of interest on the tomographic image, set a region for obtaining a reference signal value on the tomographic image, and obtain the reference value of the specified region from the recorded signal. The subject analyzing means computes the ratio of the signal value of each pixel in the region of interest to a reference value using the recorded signal, and generates and displays new data in which at least the luminance or hue corresponding to the computed ratio in each pixel of the region of interest is reflected by each pixel.
