The composition contains, besides the ingredients customary for this purpose, as film-formers polymers based on N-vinylcaprolactam which are composed of group I - 35 to 100% by weight of N-vinylcaprolactam (monomer A) - 0 to 65% by weight of N-vinylimidazole (monomer B) or a mixture of 5 to 50 parts by weight of monomer B and 10 to 60 parts by weight of N-vinylpyrrolidone (monomer C) or a mixture of 5 to 15 parts by weight of monomer B and 10 to 35 parts by weight of an alkyl acrylate or alkyl methacrylate with 1 to 4 C atoms in the alkyl radical (monomer D) - 0 to 4% by weight of other free-radical copolymerisable monomers E or group II - 35 to 100% by weight of monomer A - 0 to 65% by weight of a mixture of 20 to 60 parts by weight of monomer D and 5 to 15 parts by weight of acrylic acid or methacrylic acid (monomer F) or a mixture of 15 to 50 parts by weight of monomer D and 5 to 15 parts by weight of an alkyl acrylate or alkyl methacrylate with 1 to 4 C atoms in the alkyl radical, the latter additionally carrying an amino group which is unsubstituted or substituted by C1-C4-alkyl radicals (monomer G) - 0 to 4% by weight of other free-radical copolymerisable monomers E where carboxyl groups present in the polymers are partially or completely neutralised by amines.
