GLABRIDIN GLYCOCIDE AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR, AND SKIN CARE PREPARATION FOR EXTERNAL USE CONTAINING GLABRIDIN GLYCOCIDE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a glabridin glycocide which has high solubility in water and exhibits excellent moisture retainability, handleability, stability, and the like, to provide a method for producing the same, to obtain a tyrosinase inhibitor containing the glabridin glycocide as an active ingredient, and to provide a skin care preparation for external use containing the glabridin glycocide as an active ingredient and used for the skins.;SOLUTION: The method for producing the glabridin glycocide comprises condensing a sugar derivative having a releasing group (for example, trichloroacetimide group) introduced onto a hydroxy group at an anomer position and further having protecting groups introduced onto the other hydroxyl groups with glabridin in the presence of an activating agent (for example, boron trifluoride complex). The tyrosinase inhibitor contains the produced glabridin glycocide, and the skin care preparation for external use contains the glabridin glycocide and is used for the skins.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
