PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing decalin, in which both of the constitution of apparatus and the production process are simple, at low temperature under low pressure in high yield by hydrogenation of naphthalene.;SOLUTION: The method for producing the decalin by hydrogenation of naphthalene comprises carrying out vapor phase reaction in the presence of a catalyst by using naphthalene in which desulfurization treatment is carried out and a hydrogen-containing gas in which desulfurization treatment is carried out as raw materials.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
