PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new silicon compound containing a π-electron conjugated molecule, improved so that the compound is easily crystallized through a simple production process and formed into a film, the formed film is prevented from being physically released from a surface of a substrate by making the film strongly adsorbed onto the surface, further the compound has a large π-electron conjugated system, and therefore enough carrier mobility is kept when the compound is used as an electronic material, especially, an electrically-conductive material, and to provide a method for producing the same.;SOLUTION: This silicon compound containing the π-electron conjugated molecule is expressed by the formula: R-SiX1X2X3 (R is a π-electron conjugated organic residue which is formed by together combining 3-10 units selected from groups derived from monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and monocyclic heterocyclic compounds and may have a functional group at its end; and X1, X2, and X3 are each identical to or different from the others, and each a group which gives hydroxy, when hydrolyzed).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
