PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line-of-sight guiding apparatus etc. for safely and reliably guiding the line of sight of an occupant of a vehicle to a predetermined object.;SOLUTION: The line-of-sight guiding apparatus is provided with a map data base 22 storing map data; retrieving means 14 and 40 for retrieving the location of the object to be visually recognized from the map data base 22; location detecting means 28, 30 and 32 for detecting the present location and direction of the vehicle; a location computing means 14 for computing the relative location of the object to be visually recognized to the vehicle on the basis of both the results of retrieval of the retrieving means and the results of detection of the location detecting means; and a guiding light generating means 40 for generating guiding light for guiding the line of sight of the occupant of the vehicle to the object to be visually recognized on the basis of the result of computation of the location computing means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
