PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a burst demodulator which can quickly pull in the burst by using short preambles and to realize a burst demodulator which can quickly pull in the burst by using short preambles or by quickly detecting the preamble signal.;SOLUTION: A sampling unit 51 samples the receiving signal 1 based on the timing information 4, and outputs the digital I signal 2 and the digital Q signal 3. The digital demodulator 52 switches the burst pull-in method in accordance with the ON-OFF information 6, and obtains the original signal 5 and the timing information 4 from the digital I signal 2 and the digital Q signal 3. A signal ON-OFF deciding unit 53 inputs the digital I and Q signals 2, 3, decides the receiving condition from amount of change of power, and outputs the ON-OFF information 6.
