PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify protection of a peripheral surface friction reducing material (SL) applied part in an SL pile.;SOLUTION: This protective device is constituted by sticking a fixed ring 5 to a steel pipe pile body 1 in a position directly under the lower end of the SL applied part 2 in the SL pile provided with the SL applied part for a negative friction countermeasure at the outer periphery of the steel pipe pile body 1, and providing the fixed ring 5 with a protective ring 6 with its upper part fitted to the lower end part of the SL applied part, in the connected state to the fixed ring 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
