PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining whether the power transmission is in a state where it disconnects the power transmission or in a state where it transmits the power not depending on a gear position sensor.;SOLUTION: When a power generating time control mode is selected, the intake air flow of an internal combustion engine 1 is gradually increased. When it is detected from an output of a vehicle speed sensor 20 that a vehicle slightly moves in a process of gradually increasing the intake air flow, the power transmission device 6 is judged as in a state to transmit the power. When it is not detected from the output of the vehicle speed sensor 20 that the vehicle moves until a rotational speed of the internal combustion engine exceeds a determined rotational speed set not less than the rotational speed for letting in a clutch in the process of gradually increasing the intake air flow, the power transmission device 6 is determined as in a state that the power transmission is disconnected.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
