PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the processing load, and to shorten the calculation time, when compared with the case in which all elements of an autocorrelation matrix are calculated.;SOLUTION: In the autocorrelation matrix calculation method, in calculating the autocorrelation matrix by SMI (Sample Matrix Inversion) algorithm, only M+(M-1) elements of the first row and the first column are calculated by (K+L-1) samples, and the calculation result is temporarily preserved. With respect to the elements other than the first row and the first column, for each of the M+(M-1) elements previously calculated by the (K+L-1) samples, start/end positions at the time t are slid and assigned on the diagonal line one by one, and the element previously preserved is subtracted.
