PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the estimation precision of a phase by correcting a blur quantity resulting from a focal size of a radiation source for the intensity of X rays used for solutions such as a finite element method. PSOLUTION: This phase information restoring method includes four steps (a), (b), (c) and (d). In the step (a), the blur quantity is corrected regarding at least one from among a plurality of detected data obtained by detecting the intensity of a radiation on a plurality of detection surfaces of which the distances from a patient are different. In the step (b), differential data indicating a differential between first detection data and second detection data from among a plurality of detection data wherein the blur quantity has been corrected regarding at least one of them. In the step (c), the Laplacian of the phase is determined based on a plurality of detection data, either one from among the detection data of which the blur quantity has been corrected, and the differential data.
