PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pickup implement for measuring a biomedical signal with which pressing operation of a sensing part onto a surface of a living body is not required, even frequent measurement is performed easily, and measurement is performed with good reproductivity and high precision. PSOLUTION: The pickup implement for measuring the biomedical signal is used for a biomedical signal measuring instrument which irradiates a surface of the living body 14 with near infrared rays and receives reflected light from the living body to measure component density in the living body 14 based on the biomedical signals obtained from received components. The pickup implement is formed of: a sensing part 8 formed by providing a light emission part 6a and a light receiving part 10a of the near infrared ray; and a holding part 23 for holding the sensing part 8 in the state of contacting with the surface of the living body 14 with a prescribed contact pressure. Since the sensing part 8 can be held at a prescribed position of the living body 14 by the holding tool 23, it is no longer required to perform operation such as pressing the sensing part 8 onto the surface of the living body 14 whenever measuring is performed.
