PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a consumer to easily obtain information on the calorie of food without having to do complicated calorie calculations. PSOLUTION: This calorie calculation system includes a reader 24 for reading the access information and the food information stored in a storage element 12 attached to the package 10 of food, which element stores access information for accessing a calorie calculation website to calculate the calorie of the food and the food information of the food; a calorie calculation server 20 that calculates the calorie of the food according to the food information sent from a cell phone 22 that accessed the website according to the access information read by the reader 24; and a result return means for returning the calorie calculation result by the server 20 to the cell phone 22 so that the cell phone 22 displays the result.
