PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable communication by another standard, even when a physical trouble occurs in a base station or a terminal station module managing one standard.;SOLUTION: This wireless communication terminal has antennas 4, 5 for receiving signals based on first and second wireless LAN standards; RF circuits 10, 13 for receiving the signals from the antennas 4, 5; switch 16 for switching the standard of the signals to be received by the RF circuits; reception level judging sections 12, 15 for judging the reception level of the signals in the RF circuits 10, 13 in a higher priority order in the first and second standards; and control section 17 for judging whether the communication of the first or second standard can be executed or not on the basis of the judgement result of the reception level by the reception level judgement sections, and controlling the switching operation of the switch so that the standard having a higher priority can be obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
