ADDITION OF HIGH VALUE TO CHARGE STOCK OF HYDROCARBON AND METHOD FOR LOWERING VAPOR PRESSURE OF CHARGE STOCK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adding a high value to the 5C fractional hydrocarbons of a low octane value.;SOLUTION: The method comprises (a) a process of separating a fraction (O1) containing the 5C compounds including at least 2 wt.% of pentenes from a charge stock of the above hydrocarbons, (b) a process of standing in contact the above fraction and a fraction of hydrocarbons (O2) containing at least partly 6-10C hydrocarbons containing at least 2 wt.% of olefins in the presence of a catalyst, and (c) a process of separating an effluent derived from the process (b) into the following two fractions: a gasoline fraction which contains the reaction raw material unreacted at temperatures of lower than 100 °C of the upper side distillation point; and a kerosene fraction (β) which contains products formed by alkylation or dimerization at temperatures between 100°C-300°C of the distillation range.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
