TOOTHBRUSH IMPLANTED WITH NEEDLE-LIKE BRISTLE WITH ONLY ONE SIDE OF BRISTLE TIP SHARPENED IN TAPER SHAPE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush implanted with needle-like bristles manufacturable in a simple process reducing a fraction defective, and a toothbrush manufacturing method using defective bristles failing in adjusting the length for manufacturing the toothbrush, more firmly fixing the bristles for the toothbrush to the toothbrush, and freely adjusting an implanting bristle pattern and the quantity of bristles.;SOLUTION: In this toothbrush, a construction material of the bristles for the toothbrush is a polyester resin; the whole length of the bristle is 13 to 18 mm; a taper is formed on one end in a length of 4 to 8 mm; and the taper unformed needle-like bristles are implanted in the other end. This manufacturing method involves bonding bristle holders to a head part of a toothbrush body 70 after fixing the needle-like bristles to the bristle holders by thermally fusing a bottom part of these bristle holders 20 and 30 by pushing a taper unformed part in the bristle holders 20 and 30 having a through-hole of a bristle implanting pattern in the needle-like bristles 60 for forming a taper on one side bristle tip.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
