PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a structured document conversion device by which the document processing efficiency of a structured document is enhanced without missing document information (a text) applicable by the conversion of the structured document. PSOLUTION: The structured document conversion device comprises: a structural analysis section 32 analyzing the structure of the structured document to prepare tree structure including hierarchical information specifying the parent-child relationship of each node of an element and the text; and a tree structure conversion section 36 reducing the number of hierarchies of the structured document by extracting a text node based on the tree structure.
