PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow polymer particle having a specified value of strength or higher and an appropriate particle diameter which can be effectively used as a pore-forming material.;SOLUTION: The porous hollow polymer particle has an average particle diameter of 15 μm to 500 μm and a number of hollow portions in the interior and is composed of a spherical secondary particle formed of a collection of a plurality of primary particles having a ratio of the volume of the hollow portions of ≥50 vol.%. The particle has a combustion calorific value, measured by using a combustion calorimeter, of ≤20 kJ/cm3 and a 10% compressive strength of as high strength as ≥5.0 MPa.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
