PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium-chromium-titanium complex oxide of a ramsdellite-type that has the region of composition different from a hitherto known composition ratio of the multiple oxide. PSOLUTION: A lithium compound, a chromium compound, and a titanium compound are mixed so that, in the general formula: LiSBa/SBCrSBb/SBTiSBc/SBOSB(a+3b+4c)/2/SB, the composition ratio of lithium, chromium, and titanium satisfies the following formulae: 0.2a0.4, 0.0b0.3, 0.35c 0.8, and a+b+c=1.0 (excluding a=-b/3+0.4 and 0.0b0.3). The resultant mixture is fired at a temperature in the range of 1,000-1,200C and in an oxygen containing gas, thus the above complex oxide is synthesized. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
