PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of managing the location in a predetermined date of each returnable container.;SOLUTION: This returnable container management system 100 comprises client terminals 1a-1h arranged in a plurality of facilities constituting the trip process of each returnable container, a management server 3 connectable from each client terminal through a network 2, an RFID chip mounted on each returnable container and storing first identification information for identifying each returnable container, and an RFID reader connected to each client terminal to read the first identification information stored in the RFID chip. Each client terminal transmits the first identification information of each returnable container read by the RFID reader to the management server with second identification information for identifying each client terminal.
