PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing grinding wheel for reducing a burden of machining in a post-process, and obtaining a good-quality surface property after chrome plating by eliminating generation of a striped spiral pattern (a feed mark) by a feed of the grinding wheel from a process roller surface in polishing of a gravure process copper plated roller. PSOLUTION: A shape of a using surface of a disk-like grinding wheel 1 having a through-hole 2 in a rotational axis position is not a perfect circle shape such as a conventional grinding wheel, and an outer peripheral shape of the using surface is a noncircular shape of continuously changing in a radius by allowing a maximum radius part and a minimum radius part to alternately respectively exist by n-places with every turning angle of 360/2n (n = either number of 3, 5, 7, 9 or 11), and the whole width of the grinding wheel in the line direction orthogonal to a rotary shaft by passing through the rotational shaft center always becomes the specific length.
