PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized microchemical system with high measurement sensitivity which eliminates the need for alignment of an optical axis and focus alignment of a detection light and an excitation light.;SOLUTION: The microchemical system 10 is provided with a plate member 130 with a flow path which includes a sample in a liquid in the flow path, an optical fiber 100 having a lens, a light source unit 110 for making a detection light irradiate a thermal lens generated by irradiating the sample in the liquid with the excitation light and a detection apparatus 140 for detecting the detection light via the thermal lens. The light source unit 110 is provided with a housing 111, having a through-hole 112 in the longitudinal direction and a through-hole 113 perpendicularly intersecting the through-hole 112, an excitation light source laser diode 114 disposed in the through-hole 113, a detection light source laser diode 115 disposed in the through-hole 112, a dielectric multilayer film filter 117 disposed, in a region where the through-holes 112, 113 intersect and combining the excitation light and the detection light traveling in space and a coupling lens 120 interposed in the through-hole 112.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
