PRINTING COATED PAPER BLENDED WITH MAGAZINE WASTE PAPER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use magazine waste paper regenerated pulp also in magazine waste paper-blended printing coated paper of high grade paper. PSOLUTION: This printing coated paper is characterized in that 10 wt. % of pulp constituting the raw paper of the printing coated paper is the magazine waste paper regenerated pulp and that the impurity area of the surface of the printing coated paper is controlled to be 5.0 mmSP2/SP/mSP2/SPmeasured with an image analyzer, after the made paper is coated. The paper is made and then coated so that the unit weight of the printing coated paper is 64 g/mSP2/SP. The method for making the printing coated paper is characterized by preliminarily adjusting the cation requirement of the regenerated pulp to a range of 0.03 to 0.10 meq/L, before the pulp for the raw paper is blended with the regenerated pulp.
