WASTE PAPER-BLENDED BLEACHED CRAFT PAPER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide waste paper-blended bleached craft paper which has high whiteness degree and good printing suitability, even when a filler such as white carbon is added in a reduced amount (or not added).;SOLUTION: This waste paper-blended bleached craft paper blended with waste paper pulp is characterized by containing the magazine waste paper pulp in an amount of ≥5wt.% and having a left ink area of ≤20mm²/m² on the surface of the paper and a surface roughness of ≤2.8μm. The magazine waste paper pulp or raw material pulp containing the magazine waste paper is preferably subjected to a deinking treatment by a mechanical stirring treatment using a disperser in a waste paper pulp treatment process. The cation requirement of the regenerated pulp is adjusted to a range of 0.03 to 0.10meq/L. The amount of the regenerated pulp blended with the pulp for the raw paper is adjusted so that the area of impurities on the surface of the printing coated paper is ≤20mm²/m².;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
