PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a multilayer structural knitted fabric which eliminates a stuffy feeling on the skin by perspiration in wearing, controls generation of static electricity on the surface of the fabric, suppresses adhesion and stickiness of dust and has durability and resoiling prevention in washing.;SOLUTION: The method for producing the multilayer structural knitted fabric having moisture absorbing and releasing properties and water-absorbing property comprises using a polyamide-based moisture absorbing and releasing fiber in at least a part of a backside layer and a polyester fiber, having a single yarn fineness smaller than that of the yarn used in the backside layer, on the surface layer, making the knitted fabric in a multilayer structure, and in a finish process of the obtained knitted fabric, providing the knitted fabric with a treating solution containing a polyethylene glycol-based resin and a water-soluble polyester resin, drying the knitted fabric and then subjecting the knitted fabric to a low-temperature plasma treatment of a nonpolymerizable gas.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
