PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for numerically expressing performance of a humidity adjustment material for an indoor residential environment and objectively evaluating a dryness prevention capacity.;SOLUTION: The performance evaluation method of the humidity adjustment material considers a difference of balance moisture content ratios between predetermined humidity conditions in a humidity emission process of the evaluated humidity adjustment material as an index, calculates a difference of steam adsorptions between the predetermined humidity conditions in the performance evaluation method of the humidity adjustment material for evaluating the dryness prevention capacity of the humidity adjustment material and the humidity emission process of the evaluated humidity adjustment material, considers a value found by converting the difference per material unit as an index and evaluates the dryness prevention performance of the humidity adjustment material used for purpose of preventing dryness in the residential environment, and provides the effective determination index for objectively evaluating the dryness prevention performance of the humidity adjustment material for the indoor residential environment such as a residence etc.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
