PLASTIC-REINFORCED WOODEN DRUM, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND RECYCLING METHOD FOR WASTE WOOD AND PLASTIC MATERIALS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic-reinforced wooden drum, equipped with a higher strength and anti-weatherability than a conventional wooden drum, easily driven in by a fixing member such as a nail, and capable of certainly preventing an electric wire from being damaged, its manufacturing method, and a recycling method for waste wood and plastic materials.;SOLUTION: According to the manufacturing method of this plastic-reinforced wooden drum, a waste drum 11 disposed of or a waste pallet 12 disposed of is crushed by a crusher 10 into fine splinters 13 of several millimeters to several centimeters square. Then a plastic material 15 is added to the splinters 13 using a hopper 14, and the mixture is kneaded by a kneader 16. The kneaded mixture is moulded through press working or injection moulding into a plate-form material 18, and such plate-form materials are assembled so that the intended plastic-reinforced wooden drum is erected. Otherwise a complete item 20 of plastic-reinforced wooden drum may be yielded by moulding the kneaded mixture by an injection moulding machine 19.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
